Grace & Savour

Grace & Savour is an immersive fine dining experience built into the walls of Hampton Manor’s restored Victorian walled garden. Led by Head Chef David Taylor (formerly of three-Michelin-starred Maaemo in Norway and Purnell’s in Birmingham), the restaurant showcases a 15-course seasonal tasting menu served from an open kitchen. Every dish celebrates sustainable British produce grown on the estate’s organic kitchen gardens and sourced from hand-picked British farmers and small day-boat fisheries. Diners choose between counter seating overlooking the open kitchen or tables with views across the garden, creating an immersive experience. Wine pairings and non-alcoholic options are thoughtfully curated by knowledgeable sommeliers, featuring natural wines and artisanal makers in line with the estate’s sustainability philosophy. The restaurant earned a Michelin star in 2023, less than a year after opening, and topped SquareMeal’s Top 100 Restaurants in 2023. Signature dishes include grass-fed beef brisket smoked over pine, creel-caught red prawns, and preserved ingredients such as carrot nectar and pickled magnolia.

Planned as a treat for my sister and I ended up also going. Stunning lunchtime tasting, a very warm welcome and outstanding service. The food was so beautiful- both in presentation and taste. A wonderful setting and finished with a wander around the walled garden. We agreed we will save up and go once each season to test out the changing menus. Highly recommended.
