The rules

Paid never means picked.

Always labelled

Every paid slot says Sponsored or Presented by. No exceptions, in any format.

Only when it fits

A sponsored place only shows if it matches the search: open, in budget, right diet.

Rankings stay organic

Paying doesn't move you up the normal results or Heavy One's own picks.

Curators choose

Creators accept briefs they believe in, and disclose them on the video and their page.

The bar still applies

Every advertiser has to clear the same editorial check as any listing.

No following people around

We target the plan, not the person. Nothing tracks visitors to other sites.

Questions

What advertisers ask us first.

Not here?

Ask us anything about a campaign.

Ask a question
01What's the smallest campaign?

Two weeks in one city, one format. Most start with a sponsored guide or a slot in search.

02Can I advertise if I'm not a venue?

Yes. Brands, events and city partners advertise through guides, curator campaigns and the weekly email, linked to real places people can go.

03Can I target my competitors' pages?

No. Listing pages never carry ads for other venues.

04How fast can it go live?

Usually within a week of agreeing the brief. Curator campaigns take two to three weeks to film.

05Do I need to be on Plan Heavy already?

No. Venues don't have to be claimed to advertise, though claiming first means your listing is right before people see it.

06How do I pay?

By invoice, half up front and half when the campaign ends. Card for campaigns under £500.

Tell us what you're launching.

We'll come back within two working days with formats, an audience and a budget that fits.
