  My husband took me here for my bday dinner ( 7th june) it was our first time. The location was amazing and the deco was Breath taking, I was so amazing with everything. The service was quick and the DJ played music. What a great place, I really enjoyed my bday.

  If you’re after proper Mexican food in Birmingham, The Mayan is one of those places that genuinely delivers. The steak is the standout cooked exactly how you’d want it, full of flavour and clearly great quality. You can tell straight away the ingredients are fresh and everything is done with care. It’s not trying to be overly fancy, it’s just doing good food properly which, in my experience, is exactly what you want. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, the kind of place you can go for a casual evening but still feel like you’ve had something a bit special. Service is friendly and attentive without being over the top, which always makes a difference. Overall, if you’re into Mexican food and want somewhere that actually delivers on quality, especially if you’re a steak fan, it’s well worth a visit. I’ll definitely be going back.

  Exceptional food, drink & service! Alex looked after us so well & Mikes cocktails were unreal! Loved the glasses as well! 👌🏻 Beautiful decor, just a shame we were the only people in there! It was only 2pm on a Friday! But this place deserves to be busy! Keep up the excellent work & I will be recommending to all my family & friends!

  Came here in September, with family and friends. Thoroughly enjoyed the Sunday lunch offer platter (see picture). Great value, amazing cocktails. Very grand bathrooms, very clean too. Loved the artwork on the walls and the decor in general. The food and drinks were of a very high quality, I look forward to returning and would easily recommend without hesitation. Amazing service - our host was a lovely friendly lady who was attentive and very patient. All staff were just as professional which you’d expect from a high end place.

  Had a corporate event which i Had to arrange, everyone at The Mayan made this an amazing experience for all my team (23 people ). They all made sure that I had what I needed and any changes were handled with no issue. food was exquisite, me and my team were very impressed at the presentation and the taste, and the excellent service. A special mention to Mario the floor manager who made sure everything went as it should. Alex who served us mostly was amazing and made sure to check in with me each time to make sure I was happy and all is ok. the others were also very attentive and helped. Definitely recommend highly if you’re looking for fine dining with excellent service. Will be back for Sure. Regards, Parveen NatWest
