Bank Restaurant Bar & Grill

Happy Lemon is a vibrant bubble tea destination located in Birmingham’s Chinatown, steps from the Hippodrome. The venue specialises in freshly handmade Taiwanese bubble tea with a distinctive focus on their signature rock salted cheese foam topping, which customers rave about for its creamy, salty contrast to fruity teas. Tiger Bites Pig is a Taiwanese-inspired restaurant serving bold, authentic East Asian street food from its Church Street location in Birmingham’s business district. The signature pillowy bao are steamed fresh each morning and filled with options like red braised pork belly, roasted Sichuan lamb, or white cut chicken, whilst ingredient-led rice bowls draw inspiration from Sichuan province. The kitchen is open to view, and almost every menu element is prepared in-house using traditional techniques: kimchi fermentation, house pickling, and slow braising all feature prominently.

The venue has evolved from its original small counter format on Stephenson Street (2018-2024) into a larger space with ground-floor counter seating ideal for solo diners and a mezzanine restaurant upstairs perfect for groups. Beyond baos and bowls, there’s an expanded drinks menu featuring draught beer, craft beer, wines, cocktails and homemade desserts, blending quick service with a more complete dining experience.
