This was our second time visiting this place. The first time, we had a really, really great experience with the burgers everything was delicious and the quality was excellent. Unfortunately, this time our experience was a bit different. Two of our chicken burgers were not fully cooked, and the chicken had a slightly unpleasant smell. We still ate our meal, but for someone who is sensitive to the texture or taste of meat, this could be quite off-putting, as the cooking was not complete. I really hope this was just a one-time issue and that the quality doesn’t decline, because our first experience was excellent and we would love to come back again.

My search for the best fried chicken ended here. Forget the chains and all the American based chicken shops blighting our towns and cities. This place is the real deal. An independent delivering ridiculously good food in the heart of Birmingham. I went with my wife and daughter on a sunny Friday afternoon. There was a small wait as the place was busy. I had the Bonehead Pilsner whilst waiting and it went down too easy.. The waiting staff were friendly and polite and explained the offerings. I opted for the Nashville Hot Bowl that consisted of a chicken thigh and leg, Nashville waffle fries, Cajun corn on the cob, coleslaw, pickles and 'Comeback' sauce. The chicken was fried to perfection. Crispy beautifully coated skin and juicy in the middle. The best Nashville Hot chicken I've tried in this country. We also had the Buffalo Burger with ranch sauce and a Lizard King burger with Cinema fries (like cinema nachos but with waffle fries). Again all brilliantly cooked and I should mention the burger buns too were really good at holding everything together. The interior is pretty cool giving off 'Rock' vibes. Nice selection of music too that wasn't too loud. If you want the best fried chicken in Birmingham give this place a try. I will most definitely be going back.

Had such an amazing time here! The vibe, the lighting, everything was on point. The burgers were juicy and full of flavor, the crispy chicken wings were perfectly seasoned, and those waffle fries… honestly addictive. 🔥 And the best part? It was my birthday and they surprised us with free shots, which made the night even more special. Definitely a spot I’d come back to again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food and atmosphere

If you are a huge fan of good fried chicken, then this is a definite to try, forget the chains, this is a must do, reasonably priced and huge portions! Even though it was fried it was not greasy. The Chicken was tender and full of flavour. The gravy was flavorful and chips/waffles were crispy but soft inside. It's the best fried chicken I've had in a long time. Will definitely visit again! It's a small place and busy so I'd recommend reserving or be prepared to wait, but so worth it. We had a craft beer whilst waiting. Music was classic heavy metal bit not overbearing, added to the atmosphere.

Came in here during a few days break in Birmingham and I had heard good things about this place. Me and my partner had a burger each and a sharer dirty fries. Burgers were awesome and huge and the sharer was really nice as well. They have a nice selection of guest beers to choice from advertised on the wall near the bar. Staff were friendly and food came out quick and well-presented. We sat downstairs but there is an upstairs seating area for when it gets busier I am guessing. The place has an alternative look with posters of many rock/metal bands on the walls and a place were i guess punters put photos which is cool. I will come back here again, Lovely little place.
