Dishoom
Dishoom Birmingham pays homage to the Irani cafés of Bombay, located at One Chamberlain Square in the city centre overlooking the square. Open all day, every day, serving Bombay comfort food from breakfast (Bacon Naan Roll, Kejriwal, The Big Bombay) through to evening tipples. Signature dishes include Lamb Rara with Roomali Roti and House Black Daal. The restaurant features high ceilings, dark ambient décor with glass frontage overlooking the square, and welcomes walk-ins at any time. Mostly casual dining, though group bookings and reservations are accepted.

Was in the city centre for a catch up with a mate. Table was reserved and service was friendly and efficient. Drinks came quickly and the waiter was friendly and helpful. I am a big fan of Chaat so ordered 2. The house one is amazing. But the other tasted burnt. Just wasn't a fan. All in all a good place to come with loads of food options and enough vegetarian options to keep you happy. You will be paying Birmingham centre prices though. So fair warning. Enjoy.

Absolutely everything was perfect. Food was an explosion of flavours, all amazingly well balanced . Portion were small, but on the same time so generous because of the flavours. I haven’t tasted such a nice Indian food in a long time and most definitely we will be back again. The restaurant itself is located in a nice area and is so beautiful inside too. The atmosphere was nice and the music wasn’t too loud so we could chat over our dinner. Stuff 100% nice and helpful. I highly recommend it. All the 10k+ reviews are so much deserved . Well done 👌👌

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We visited Dishoom Birmingham on 1st February 2026 as a party of five and had a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. We were seated at a great table in a busy, vibrant restaurant that clearly shows how popular this place is — and for good reason. Our server, Joni, was outstanding: polite, courteous, attentive, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the meal. She made us feel very welcome and well looked after. The manager also stopped by and was equally friendly and attentive, which really added to the positive atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious — especially the fresh naans and the never-ending masala chai, which was a real highlight. The restaurant itself was clean, beautifully designed, and had a warm, inviting vibe. A fantastic dining experience all around. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning!

World renowned Dishoom is loved by all. Hence I was so pleasantly surprised when I realised they opened a branch in Birmingham and that too at an amazing location with the views of the Birmingham Council square. We booked a table of four for lunch on the auspicious day of Rakhi and met up with my sister. At the entrance the place was heaving with a bit of queue. The two ladies who were Hosting had a pleasant surprise and I told them that I have a reservation and was promptly brought to a round table. I would have preferred a corner table or a sofa table as it was in the middle of the gangway. It was quite busy for the afternoon. I was asked if I wanted to order and I told the lovely waiter that i am waiting for my sister. Once we were settled we ordered our meals and drinks. My meal of Chole Bhature was amazing but my sisters could have been better. Drinks and food came on time. Toilets were clean and easy to find. One of the waiters who served us was outstanding with service, smiling and happy and ready to help even when it was so busy. Will visit again.
