Lucky Claw
Lucky Claw is Birmingham’s premier Japanese-style arcade specialising in skill-based claw machines stocked with authentic imported prizes. Every machine operates with consistent, fair grip strength-no rigged mechanics-so winning depends entirely on player skill and timing. Most visitors leave with prizes. The venue also features rhythm arcade games including Taiko no Tatsujin and Dance Machine, plus StepOn, an interactive LED floor arena where players step on blue tiles to score points and dodge red tiles. With no entry fee and tokens never expiring, you can visit anytime during opening hours and use your tokens across all machines. The space is bright, modern and located above the Han Dynasty Food Hall. Birthday party packages include exclusive use of the arcade, a 2-hour session with a dedicated host, 40 game tokens per child, unlimited StepOn gameplay, food and drinks, and gift bags.

A very fun place to go! I would recommend, however it’s sometimes quite hard to win loads of things, but that generally happens with claw machines anyways! But overall i would recommend, It’s a great experience!!

Do I need to book in advance or can I just turn up?
Walk-ins are welcome for the claw machines and arcade games with no entry fee required. The StepOn LED floor arena can be booked online in advance, though walk-in play may also be possible on quieter days. Birthday and group party packages should be booked ahead.
How much does it cost and how do the tokens work?
There is no entry fee, you simply buy tokens to play. Visits typically cost between £12 and £40 per person depending on how much you play, with most claw machines costing one token and machines with larger prizes costing two. Tokens never expire, so any unused ones can be saved for a future visit.

Lucky Claw is an entire floor Dedicated to claw machines, it’s a fantastic place to go for a fun short activity. It’s reasonably priced at £10 for 25 tokens and you are guaranteed to win at least once. I won 4 items the last time I went. The staff are super friendly and the claw machines are filled with many different toys, snacks, keychains and figurines. Over all it’s a super fun and cute place to play games and take photos. I highly recommend. Approx time spent : 40 min

We visited here for my girlfriends birthday today after she saw about it on TikTok and it was great. So different from your regular arcade with claw machines. These were very winnable, and I loved the fact that you could either keep your toys won, or trade up for a bigger one. There’s a few other game machines in there for variety, and the decor was great. Loved all the neon, mirrors, bright light’s and cartoons. The staff were brilliant, always refilling machines, cleaning, helping anyone that needed it, and the girl behind the counter was so friendly and polite.
