The Leasowes is a 154-acre Grade I listed historic landscape, one of the most important and influential gardens of the 18th century, created by poet William Shenstone between 1743 and 1763. The park features mixed woodland, open grassland, several lakes and ponds, and a network of walking trails with fine views, particularly at sunset. It is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest and contains a working 18-hole golf course. The park includes a walled garden being restored by volunteers, and a visitor centre. The Dudley No. 2 (Lapal) Canal runs along an 18-metre embankment on the western boundary. The park is owned and maintained by Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council and is open 24/7 with free entry and free parking for approximately 80 cars.

One of the best parks in Birmingham. It's picturesque. Looks more natural than man made, yet well maintained. The terrains vary, which makes it not boring.

Absolutely beautiful little gem, we followed the golf course track and by the little streems and ponds it was absolutely picturesque! Will be visiting again!! Plenty of free parking and really close to town if you wanted to nip in for snacks before or after.
