The food here is amazing especially the beef tacos, which are honestly the best I’ve ever tasted. Everything was full of flavour and really well prepared. Service was also a big plus. The food came out quickly, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout, which made the whole experience even better. Their mocktails are also really nice and a great addition to the meal. Definitely a place I’d recommend and will be coming back to!

We enjoyed our time out at the Malibu restaurant. Loved the food and more importantly loved the waiter’s service. Ali and Ricardo made it a wholesome experience with their quick responses, warm smile and overall service. The entrance confused us a bit, but asides that it was a great experience. I can’t forget to add the music was buzzing!

Shocking!! Avoid!! Went here for Valentine’s Day with the Mrs, before I went inside the venue was greeted by the rats outside by the main entrance (next to the bins), the entrance looks more like a entrance to a bando then a restaurant/lounge, when sat down was told before we ordered no refunds (big red flag), was also handed a set menu (was not told this prior before when booking reservation), the honey wings were decent but the lamp chops had no flavour and were very dry! Would not feed these to my dogs! The steaks were very moist and lacked flavour as well also coming out lukewarm (place was not busy), prison food tasted better! Next was the desserts red velvet cake and chocolate cake, velvet cake was decent but chocolate cake tasted like concrete, would rather eat the soap I shower with! Absolutely avoid at all costs! Not worth the £170 I paid for at all!!

Visited Malibu Lounge for a friend’s birthday and it was a very disappointing experience from start to finish. This place feels like a TikTok trap—based on our visit, the 5-star reviews are very hard to believe. We arrived to an almost empty venue with no central heating, only a few small portable heaters scattered around, which did very little to warm the space. The overall atmosphere felt unfinished and poorly maintained. Even the bathrooms were shocking—poorly constructed, badly finished, and not what you would expect from a venue presenting itself as “upmarket.” Staff initially appeared disengaged and uninterested. There was no table service; we had to go up to the till to order, and payment was required before receiving any food, which already felt inappropriate for a restaurant setting. Drinks were extremely poor value. A £3.95 Rubicon from a multipack was served as a can, with no glass or ice. After raising our concerns, the customer representative did try to help and gave us another can of the same multipack drink. She was polite and clearly doing her best, but it was obvious she was trying to manage a venue with very poor fundamentals—this is a management failure, not a frontline staff issue. Food service was chaotic. Only half the meals arrived initially, with the rest coming much later. We were told there was only one chef working. We were not given forks until after the food arrived, leaving us trying to eat jerk chicken and coleslaw with a spoon. The jerk chicken tasted like plain grilled chicken with little to no seasoning, the rice portion was extremely small, and the fries arrived long after the main meals were finished. When we raised these issues, no refund was offered. We were explicitly told that because payment had already been taken, a refund was not possible. That response alone says everything about how this place is run. Overall, this venue is badly organised, poorly managed, and completely unsuitable for celebrations. Management urgently needs to address the basics—staffing, service, facilities, food quality, and customer care. I would strongly advise people to avoid it.

Entering the premises can be slightly confusing as the shutter is down but the door is open to the side. Once inside the area is very spacious with plenty of seating. Our order was ready to be taken right away, also we were provided with some heating too which was nice. We had the bao buns as appetisers which were delightful. For mains we had the mixed platter, the lamb chops were great, the wings were a tad tough but did have a nice flavour. The rice was OK, and the chicken steak was nice with flavour but slightly dry. The main standout was the service, the staff are very attentive, polite and give the impression that they genuinely care. We had Amaan that was looking after us throughout our meal, and he was absolutely brilliant. Very polite, attentive and helpful, I think any restaurant would live to have a member of staff like him.
