Happy Lemon

So apparently this is supposed to be a taro milk tea? I ordered a taro milk tea with boba and received a completely different drink. It tasted nothing like taro and didn’t even have the typical purple taro color. I ended up paying for a drink I didn’t order. To make matters worse, I noticed an ant on the countertop, which raised concerns about the cleanliness of the store. Between the incorrect order and the cleanliness issue, this was a very disappointing experience. I won’t be returning.

Yummy waffles. Massive waffles (ideal to share) and amazing drinks. The shop gets really busy specially at night time, but the staff is fast, organized and polite. I couldn't ask for better. Deffo worth trying when in town !

One of my favourite bubble tea shops in Birmingham. My favourite is the matcha milk tea with taro balls, I get it every single time. Just one of my comfort places whenever I want a drink.

The ice cream had a subtle taste of matcha but tasted more like vanilla, the red bean added a nice touch! The waffle also had a subtle black sesame taste, and even though it was really nice- the filling wasn’t black sesame like advertised, I think it was chocolate. The portions were definitely good in relation to the price, would come again

I understand and can agree to some reviews when referring to staff rudeness but i do go here often and have experienced that only the one time (on a very busy day). Can busy times excuse for rude and dismissive customer service? - absolutely not! But I have found them to be more polite and friendly in the recent times I have visited. Maybe they have taken the feedbacks board? I would recommend to choose this place when in the area and the range of flavours to choose from here are 👌🏼!!
