My first visit to F1 Arcade and it definitely won't be my last! We visited during Happy Hour, which made it even better value. There's plenty of space, making it a fantastic venue for birthdays, celebrations or a fun group night out. A special thank you to Briana, our server, who was so friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout. Playing in teams was brilliant and added a really fun, competitive element. I'd also encourage any women thinking about trying it – don't be intimidated! It's easy to get into, great fun, and suitable for complete beginners as well as F1 fans. One of my favourite touches was how you can actually feel the vibrations through the simulator when your car hits the gravel. It makes the experience feel much more immersive. Highly recommended – we'll definitely be back! 🏁

FAQ

Is F1 Arcade Birmingham suitable for kids and families?

Yes, it's family friendly and open to all ages, but children must be at least 7 years old to use the racing simulators. Under-18s are welcome in the venue until 8pm daily, after which it becomes adults only.

How busy does it get and when is the best time to visit?

The venue is popular and gets especially busy on weekends and during Formula 1 Grand Prix events, when waits can be long. Visiting on a weekday or booking in advance is strongly recommended to avoid disappointment.

Do I need to book in advance or can I just walk in?

Booking ahead is highly recommended, particularly on weekends and race days, as the venue fills up quickly. Walk-ins may be possible during quieter periods, but pre-booking guarantees your simulator time.

Is there a dress code?

There is no formal dress code listed for F1 Arcade Birmingham. Smart casual is a safe bet given the elevated bar and dining atmosphere, but the venue is ultimately relaxed and inclusive for all types of visitors.

How do I get there, and is parking available?

The venue is a roughly 10-minute walk from Birmingham New Street station, and the nearest tram stop is Town Hall, directly alongside the Paradise estate. On-site parking is available at the Paradise car park, accessed from Great Charles Street Queensway, and Q-Park Mailbox (with EV charging) is also a short walk away.

Is the venue accessible for guests with mobility needs?

The venue is described as having easy transport links and on-site accessibility, and the simulator seats are adjustable to accommodate a range of guests. If you have specific accessibility requirements, it's worth contacting the venue directly ahead of your visit.

How much should I budget for a visit?

Expect to spend roughly £40-£95 per person, covering simulator racing plus food and drinks from the elevated menu, which includes Wagyu beef burgers, tapas-style dishes, cocktails, and champagne. Non-alcoholic options and a kids menu are also available, and vegetarian-friendly dishes feature on the menu too.
