Read all 5I went on Sunday with my cousin he ordered the solo platter I ordered the double gourmet meal go large and the solo platter came with the food as a meal, I ordered a double gourmet ended up giving me a single gourmet and I was like “thats not a double gourmet” and the server said “I only charged for a single” WHEN I CLEARLY SAID DOUBLE absolute dunces. 20 mins later I get my order replaced to the correct meal and don’t get me wrong food was great but service is very poor so I don’t think I’ll be entering the Small Heath MeriGo for a while based on the service alone.
I was recommended to try these guy's out..the food was ok, the service was horrendously slow, it took 30 min for 4 items, customers who came after me were served way before me..the cashier spent time chatting away with kitchen staff, no care in the world, it wasn't busy either...when I ordered, I was told 15 min. Not good enough for a new place, it was empty inside..only few customers waiting for their food..I won't go out of my way to coming here again..Food was reasonable BTW and it was clean. Service lacked very much..

Delivered wrong food driver blaming store and the store blaming driver, phoned store said they can't deliver now had guests from Manchester this has happened twice with them but they don't seem bothered but I will definitely not be ordering from there and I will tell family and friends not food was delivered to home
Ordered from merigos today on uber eats I asked for sauces in the notes got my deliver didn’t get the sauces I was eating the fries they taste like they’ve been thrown on the floor and i was enjoying my burrito untill i bit into the chicken and realised it was pink inside and it was raw next minute i look at the chicken again and theres a little black hair next to it and they’ve been putting black burnt bits inside the food looks like the chicken hasn’t been cooked properly and they’ve thrown it on the floor and put it back inside the burrito very bad hygiene issues I don’t know what type of people they’ve been hiring clearly don’t know how to cook chicken properly and they don’t have good hygiene either never ordering food from here again you just lost a loyal customer. Fix your attitude and hygiene mate and think you need new better staff think you guys need todo a back ground check before you hire these people. People these days will eat anything without looking at the food.
On the graft again installing a bathroom door. Dashed out this morning without breakfast 🤪 and at 4pm my belly thought my throat had been cut after hunger pains developed. A spirited 200 metres jog to Coventry Road brought me to a whole host of food choices in this multicultural region of Small Heath, situated 5 miles from Birmingham town Center. I felt I could manage breaklunch in one go. So popped into a very bright, clean looking fast takeaway called MeriGo Piri Piri. The opening words were welcoming, Yes BIG man how can I help you? With a smile I ordered a cheese burger meal, this also consisted of fries, Mao and chilly dip, a chilled tin of mango juice was also included. The meal was cooked freshly in front of my eyes and dispensed in 2 separate bags. I sat down to a clean table and bench seat. The meal was packed beautifully and upon unwrapping the look and taste hit ALL the right spots. In essence, The quality of customer service, preperation and prompt delivery of the meal were all top draw. I highly recommend MeriGo Peri Peri and for a mear £5.25 it was good value, furthermore, money well spent. Tony Mclarty
